McClain's Mustang Message

Welcome to a brand-new year, Mustangs!

The BLUE Stampede is officially on the move, and I could not be more excited about what we are building together at The Dorff!

Our theme, Building the BLUEprint, represents the work we will do together all year long. Every lesson, conversation, challenge, celebration, and connection is another piece of the blueprint we are creating for student success.

This year, we are changing the game by setting high expectations, building strong relationships, taking pride in our campus, and creating opportunities for every Mustang to grow, lead, and succeed.

At Wessendorff, excellence is not an option, it is the standard.

Our parents and families are essential partners in our success. Your partnership matters, and we look forward to working alongside you to make this a successful year for your Mustang.

Student Registration

PK-8 parents needing to enroll Monday - Wednesday will need to come to Central Registration. Our office hours are:

Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In order to enroll, parents will need to bring printed versions of their proof of residence, birth certificates, immunization, and parent IDs.
Online registration will return on Thursday, August 13.

Go to the Versatrans My Stop E-Link website:

Enter your Username: Student ID number.
Enter your Password: Student date of birth (MMDDYYYY).
Click on “Students.”
Select “View My Students.”
Click on the student’s name to view bus route details.
You will be able to see:

Route number
Bus stop location(s)
Estimated arrival and drop-off times

Beginning of the Year Forms

B.O.Y

For the 2026-27 school year, all required Lamar Consolidated ISD beginning-of-year forms must be completed online through the Skyward Family Access Center. Online forms are available through the Family Access Center starting July 27th and all forms need to be submitted no later than Sept. 11th. Your student’s schedule will not be available online through the Family Access Center until all the beginning-of-year forms are completed for your student and after the campus has released schedules. Student schedules will be available online on Monday, Aug. 03rd, if all online forms have been completed.

Parents—Please have your student read/repeat this manifesto until they believe it. I will leave copies in the front office if you want a hard copy.

Schedule Changes

By Monday morning, all previously submitted schedule change requests will be completed. If you have already submitted a request and your concern has not been addressed, please let me know. You may send me an email or leave me a voicemail before noon on Monday, August 10.

IMPORTANT: After 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, I will not process additional schedule changes

Please also note that schedule changes will not be made for the purpose of changing teachers, class periods, or specific classes. Once schedules are finalized, students will be expected to remain in their assigned classes.

Parents/guardians may contact me with questions or concerns regarding their student’s schedule.

To ensure the safety and supervision of all students, please be reminded that our school doors open at 8:30 a.m.

Students who are dropped off before 8:30 a.m. are unsupervised, as staff members are not yet on duty. Leaving students unattended prior to staff arrival creates a significant safety concern.

We ask that all families plan ahead and schedule morning drop-off for 8:30 a.m. or later. Your partnership in following these procedures helps us provide a safe and secure environment for every Mustang.
