Principal Vanessa McClain leads the Mustangs at Wessendorff Middle School. She proud graduate of Terry High School and a Lamar CISD educator for more than 20 years, Mrs. McClain has served in various roles including paraprofessional, classroom teacher, and campus administrator. Most recently, she was assistant principal at Lamar Consolidated High School, where she helped foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and student success. Mrs. McClain is committed to building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while creating a learning environment where every student is supported and empowered to thrive.
